Alison is a Macquarie University graduate, completing her master’s degree in 1993. Now specialising in gentle, neurologically-based chiropractic techniques, she brings her dedication to the true spirit of chiropractic: restoring nervous system integrity to de-stress the body and mind. Alison believes that in today’s world, chiropractic care is needed more than ever, as everyday life becomes increasingly complex and stressful.
Alison sees her role as a facilitator and educator in your individual health journey. Whether your goal is to improve mobility, relieve pain, or achieve optimal health, she will collaborate to identify and implement pathways to achieving the best possible outcome for you.
Special areas of interest: Vector Point Cranial Therapy (VPCT)-Reprogramming of proprioceptive pathways to re-align the spine, re-educate spinal muscles and improve nerve function.
Lifestyle counselling- Assessing and addressing factors which may be contributing to your spinal dysfunction, inflammation and stress. This may include nutritional advice, exercises and/or stress reduction techniques.
Alison recently returned to learning the piano, and is enjoying working towards being able to play some of her favourite music again. Her fox terrier cross is coping reasonably well with the new loud noise, although sometimes he retreats to the other end of the house.
